Everyone say hello to Misty Copeland, she makes history slaying as the FIRST Black principal ballerina in American Ballet Theater history !!!
A shower of applause concluded the tribute last May for prima ballerina assoluta Aurélie Dupont, who retired from the Paris Opera after 32 years. Married with principal dancer Jérémie Bélingard and the mother of Jacques, age 7, and Georges, age 5, she decided to conclude her affiliation with the ballet company and embark upon a solo career.
«The Paris Opera has always decided for me since I was ten. Lessons, teachers, shows… who, what and how. The only time I was free was when I was pregnant. Now I can supervise my projects and have more time to spend with my sons. And this will be magical».
Aurélie knows magic well and it is what has given her the most satisfaction.
«The dancer is like a magician who repeats his tricks endless times on stage. However, the audience’s surprised, enchanted gaze is very gratifying for me. Each performance is a unique moment, and each time unexpected emotions are experienced».
There is no lack of future projects. Aurélie was asked to perform with the Martha Graham Dance Company in New York.
«They invited me to perform the ballet ‘The Lover’ in April. Then I’ll leave for Canada to do the voice of Félicie in the animated film ‘Ballerina’. Now I’m more present in my children’s lives and at the same time I can do more dancing. It’s difficult to have two parents who are dancers, always on tour, but at the same time, Jacques and Georges have an ‘artistic life’. Their playground is always a theater stage».

I have a theory. It may not be right, but it’s what I feel.
Perhaps there is more to astrology than people think, but at the same time, maybe there is less as well.
The universe is a grand thing, but it is just that; a thing. I don’t believe it created itself. I believe that God created the universe, as he created us; the children that He loves so well. The stars and the planets, the galaxies and black holes, dark matter and aliens, all of the celestial enchantment and wonder and mystery can ne'er tell us more than a fraction of who we are and how everything works. That’s because there is no way we could ever glean enough information from them to tell us anything more than a smidgen of information. It is like trying to get cranberry juice from actual cranberries, there’s not much to work with, but yet we remain fascinated-albeit a bit frustrated-at the little we did get.
But, my friends, God put the entire universe within us, because we are made from Him. We have the stars in our eyes, the planets at our fingers, the seas in our hair. We have thunder in our veins and lightning in our souls. We spit flames from our tongue and we grow flowers upon our cheeks. We can spin gold and harvest pearls, we have so much pressure bubbling within us that the dust of our insides is constantly creating diamonds. And we know nothing of this.
How can the outer world ever tell us the inner world when we barely know a fraction of what is happening within us?
It can’t.
But God can.
And here is the reason that the stars can be both wrong and right: God placed each and every star and planet, every rainbow and galaxy-EVERYTHING-every speck of dust, in the perfect place when we were created.
We could never fully account for all these intricacies that God took into account when we were but a thought in his mind.
We can certainly try, but why would that be any more fascinating than exploring the reflection of the universe within ourselves? Exploring who we are in Him, our glorious Father who knew that even when we’d turn from Him, we’d need something to help us figure out who we are and who we want to be? We can only learn so much through extrospection. We must learn the rest from introspection. From meditating in silence, in laughter, in tears, on who we are in the this great big universe that God gave to us.
Let us wonder at the beauty of the stars, and let us gaze upon the moon, let us wait in hopeful anticipation for the next meteor shower or the next eclipse.
But let us never turn from the all-encompassing Love that put it all there.
I leave you all to ponder in peace, and bask is the reality of how insanely loved you are.
Amen. :)

Look into colleges that offer your chosen math major & have a dance department. You can minor in dance or take classes for the non-major. (This advice may only be applicable to universities in the U.S.). You can also look at colleges that have a solid dance school nearby at which you can take open classes. Enjoy!
